To celebrate five hundred years since William Tyndale published his New Testament in English, there will be an interactive concert at the Al Jaber Auditorium at Corpus Christi College in Merton Street, Oxford (OX1 4JF) on Friday 30th October 2026 at 1:30 p.m. This is also the concert to end the 2026 Tyndale Conference.
The presenter and pianist is Jack Tyndale-Biscoe, a descendant of William Tyndale's brother. Also taking part will be Rachel Payne (mezzo-soprano) and Dr Hywel Clifford from the Faculty of Theology and Religion.

This year's Tyndale Society conference will mark the 500th anniversary of William Tyndale's New Testament, reflecting on the past and the impact through to today. The conference is called "Tyndale to TikTok: The Bible's Translation, Distribution and Impact"

Tyndale House is holding a day conference on Saturday 24th October at Christ Church, Cambridge (CB1 1HT) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the proceedings also being available online.
To mark the close of the 500th anniversary year of the New Testament’s translation from Greek into English, the day will include a special talk on William Tyndale by Tony Watkins. This will be a similar event to the one which was held in Ealing in March, but will also include a video talk by Tom Schmidt on the date of Christmas.

"The Book That Changed the World"
St Peter’s Church, St Albans, are proud to present an extraordinary, one-hour dramatic performance called "The Book That Changed the World: William Tyndale and the Battle for the English Bible", written and presented by Prof. Tim Boatswain.
The event is part of the celebrations to mark the 500th anniversary of William Tyndale's New Testament published in Worms, which is twinned with St Albans. It takes place at 7 p.m. on 15th October 2026, at St Peter's Church, St Peter's Street, St Albans, Hertfordshire AL1 3HG. The presentation will be followed by refreshments.
