This year (2026) marks the five hundredth anniversary of the publication of William Tyndale’s New Testament in English. To explore this, there will be a local history day of talks, arranged jointly by Bristol and Gloucestershire Archaeological Society and the Avon Local History and Archaeology, from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Saturday 19th September 2026.
